Information Technology - Cybersecurity

Long Term

The Information Technology - Cybersecurity curriculum prepares graduates for employment in the technology sector as information security analysts, security systems administrators, information security specialists, and other skilled security positions adept at safeguarding digital systems and information from cyber threats.

Coursework includes comprehensive studies in network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and risk management. Students will gain hands-on experience in simulated cyber attack scenarios, learning to detect vulnerabilities and devise effective defense strategies.

Graduates should qualify for a range of roles, such as Cybersecurity Analysts, Information Security Engineers, Penetration Testers, Security Consultants, and Incident Responders. They will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect organizations from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of digital assets. The program incorporates the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.
