Every semester the Center for Learning Excellence invites faculty and staff to share knowledge and best practices aligning with the college's strategic goals.  You are encouraged to submit a presentation outline. You are welcome to submit a proposal. Should you need guidance on a topic of interest, feel free to contact cle@durhamtech.edu.

Submission of proposal timeline

  • For Fall semester: Submit by May, no later than June
  • For Spring semester: Submit by November, no later than December
     

A call for presenters will go out at the beginning of April for Fall semester, and November for the Spring semester.

Presentation proposals are welcomed throughout the year, before the deadline. Presentations requested during the semester are tentative. A decision will be communicated to the presenter in the event the presentation can be added to the calendar.

Adjunct Faculty

Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ would not be successful without our adjunct faculty. We support the participation of adjunct faculty through the $50 adjunct faculty stipend paid by the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Foundation. Adjunct faculty who attend two Teaching and Learning (T&C) activities in one semester are eligible to receive adjuncts must fill out the adjunct teaching stipend form at the end of each session attended. Any sessions attended exceeding two per semester do not qualify for additional stipends. Adjuncts can receive the stipend once per semester. Attendees should keep in mind that only those activities listed on the fall and spring Teaching and Learning calendar of events qualify for the stipend. Please allow at least six weeks after the end of the semester for payment processing.
